some of the most important advice i try to give other artists is it shouldn't actively suck the whole time you're working on something. if you hate coloring find a new way to color. or don't color and just post the lines. if you hate going from sketch to lineart then find a new way to do lines. or skip it and color directly on/under the sketch. or go lineless. if you only want to write dialogue then just write a dialogue-only piece. if you don't want to write dialogue then don't write it. suffering is not mandatory for creative work, especially if you're just doing it as a hobby to cool down. doing something fun shouldn't feel like pulling teeth and you should do yourself a favor and find new techniques if you feel like you're fighting your own art. my mom always told me "the right brush does half the work for you" and i think the same goes for when you find the right technique, the right medium, the right workflow, etc., because there's no way you can express what you want to when you're devoting so much of your brain's ram to actively hating the process of expressing it
